Went out on a father's day trip to tide gauge with friends and family and caught a total of 19 trout and one 28" Red all using live croaker (freeline) and shrip (popping cork). This trip's pictures made it into the Saltwater Angler publication.

Fished a few hours this morning from 6:00 to 11:00am and limited on white spinner and grub worm. Man it's starting to get fun. I bought a new custom terminator spinner that is heavier and seems to be doing the job quite well. I would say I am averaging 10 pounds or so every outing this month.

Have a good understanding about texas rigged grub worms now and have caught decent sized bass but no lunkers though. They seem to like Fat Albert chartuese and rootbeer grub. I am going to experiment on different color skirts for spinner bait next trip.
