We had a lovely time on the lake today. My 9 year old caught her first Bass and I caught a nice 3lb. Using rootbeer grubs and chartuese ring fry texas rigged.

Gil and I went out again for the last time this week and managed to land a few good ones in the boat. Gil caught his first 3 pounder at Ty's spot again.

Went out with Stephen and caught a nice 4 pounder at Ty's spot again using white spinner. I'm slowly trying to avoid fishing the dock because I have been getting spoiled lately. Only fished a few hours and limited out.

Gil and I went out on my first overcast day with light rain. Tried Ty's spot and managed a 4 pounder off the bank. Only caught a few before the rain got worse.

brought in about 10 fish off lynn creek marina toward the park. They were eating everything we threw. I started on root beer curlytail grubs then went to chartuse frenchfry. My buddy was using a storm minnow and brought in the biggest. All fish were around the hydrilla. The wind was up a bit about 9 mph which made it a bit difficult to try new spots on the lake.
