Joe Pool Lake, Texas

Water Temperature: 58 Water Clarity: 0
75 degrees and 5 mph to calm wind. I went out to Joe Pool today with a couple of buddies and didn't expect to catch anything, but there had been reports that black bass this week is excellent in 15-19 ft off hydrilla using white spinners. We did manage to catch one keeper doing this right by the dam.

Laguna Madre, Mustang Island & Oso Bay, Texas

Date Fished: 12/04/04 Water Temperature: 0 Water Clarity: 0
The wind and rain let up around 9:30am and we started with plan A {live mullet and dead shrimp} -we went back to Cos-Way pier but only caught big perch. Then plan B kicked in and moved to fish pass jetties where there were we noticed no fisherman {on a Saturday} -the reason-there were no fish. Plan C was in full effect after that and moved to mud bridge off of Yorktown where we didn't get one bite. Hopefully the fishing will be better next time I come down.

Laguna Madre, Texas

Date Fished: 12/03/04 Water Temperature: 0 Water Clarity: 0
Went on the Cos-Way pier around 4pm- Cos tells me the fishing is good at night for slot reds and keeper black drum as found by the photos and report from Mr C. recently. I didn't catch anything, but stingray and hard head, but the people at the end of the pier where I usually fish landed a nice black drum using dead shrimp.

Flounder Gigging- Went out with a different boat and captain- and tried Estes Flats for some clear water, but the north wind did not let up and it was all murky. We then moved to San Jose Island and worked the shoreline were we gigged only one good one. {Make sure you check all equipment before you go out on the water}
